This foliar fertilizer has a very high (200 g/l) silicon content, supplemented with manganese and zinc. The silicon in this product is micronised, which means that it is ground very fine (particle size less than 10 microns), so it provides perfect coverage on the leaf surface. This silicon product is enriched with adjuvants that help it adhere to the leaf and penetrate it faster. It should be shaken before use as these tiny active ingredients settle to the bottom of the can during storage, but are re-solubilised when shaken.

How does it work?

The three active ingredients in this product are silicon (Si), which is the main active ingredient. It is sprayed onto the leaf and absorbs into its surface cells (epidermis) and strengthens it. This makes the stems and leaves of the plant tougher and more resistant to the weather. In particular, grasses such as turf require large amounts of silicon. Biological protection is not as simple as chemical protection, so it is worth combining different methods. Thus, Tricho Immunotreatments applied in early vegetation and in autumn should be followed by SoftGuard and Ino Si treatments. These three effects together will give our plants a higher efficacy.

Why is it beneficial to the plant?

When the plant is attacked, it naturally increases its silicon content. Plants with a higher silicon content are avoided by insects, which prefer to go where the leaves and stems are softer. Mushroom hyphal threads, and caterpillars don't like approaching sharp silicon crystals either. Silicon crystals can reflect light and cool the plant by 1-2 degrees in the summer heat. They optimise the functioning of the air ducts of the plants, thus increasing their drought tolerance.

Recommended use:

Apply prior to biotic or abiotic stress to allow for adequate application. The product should be applied at a concentration of 1-2%. The treatment can be repeated every 2-4 weeks, up to 5 times.

When applying, avoid applying at high temperatures (above 25 degrees C) and high UV radiation levels as this increases the risk of scorching! Therefore, late afternoon to early morning is ideal. The correct order of application of the spray is as follows:

fill the spray tank 50% full with water
pour in the Sentinel water treatment agent while stirring continuously if the water is hard or too alkaline
If the water is too acidic or if the water is too acidic, add the Kelpak algae product
and finally fill the tank with water

Avoid using products with both acidic and alkaline pH. The application of Danuba foliar fertilizers and biostimulants with herbicides is not recommended, especially those with non-hormone effects.
