Application:

For use in gardens, floriculture and vegetable production in growing media mixtures or to improve soil structure. Lithuanian Novobalt peat is suitable for heavy, cohesive or, on the contrary, excessively dusty soil, such as soil in vegetable gardens, nurseries, plants and soil improvers.sandy soils and for soil acidification. Many plants can only grow properly in acidic soils with a low pH value. This includes certain pines and other conifers, rhododendrons (rhododendrons are closely related to azaleas), erica, magnolias, camellias, blueberries, etc.

Mixing ratio:

For germinating ornamental plant seeds in a ratio of 70% fibrous peat to 30% horticultural perlite. For germination of pine seeds, 80% fibrous peat and 20% sand. Can be used in gardens, floriculture and vegetable production to improve the structure of the growing medium. When planting potted plants, mix 10-50% Novobalt into the medium.

Benefits:

Provides long lasting good structure and water management. Odourless, pest-free, loosens soil. Excellent for use with plants that prefer acidic soils, e.g. blueberries, alpine ericas, rhododendrons, azaleas, hydrangeas.
