Why is the Bee Doctor 20 g of Bee Doctor 20 g?

Bee Doctor is a flower mixture seed for bees and other beneficial insects. The most effective pollinators of flowering plants are bees (house bees, bumblebees), bumblebees, butterflies.By sowing the seeds in the bag, you can help these beneficial insects to survive.

Where can we use the Bee Doctor seed mix?

Specifically for organic lawns, flower islands in seed orchards. Some of them are native to our country, others are not, but they complement each other excellently in providing a steady food supply for beneficial insects. They attract pollinating organisms, so they cannot be absent from either the vegetable garden or the orchard. Providing space and food is an important step towards biodiversityfor beneficial organisms that hide or feed on flowers at certain stages of their life.

How does the Bee Doctor seed mix help biological control?

Few people know that predatory moths, flower bugs and other insect pests can find a hive of prey if they can't find a bag ofthey either starve or migrate, unless they can replace their insect food with pollen. And it is easy to understand why, if predators disappear, prey proliferates, which in this case means a plethora of pests.

There are three ways to use BeeDoctor flower mix seed in organic gardens:

First:

First, when sowing or over-seeding an organic lawn, mix it with the grass seed and spread it as such. This can be mulch or orchard undergrowth. Today, organic viticulture is at a high level in Hungary, so biodiverse ecovines are planted under them almost everywhere, but they are an excellent solution for all orchards, from large farms to mini hobby gardens.

Second:

We create flower islands either in the lawn or in the vegetable garden. These are simple 60-80 cm diameter flower clumps that are cut twice a year to produce and disperse seed. This is a way of preserving those that can really become part of the ecosystem of your garden. Flower islands without disturbance can provide a stable shelter for beneficial organisms.

Third:

Greenhouses and foil tents make biological control of plants sustainable. In this case, we use the chemical-free seed mix BeehDoktor in large pots or flower boxes to sow the seeds and the soil. The finished plant cover is then placed inside the foil and simply sprinkled with the flower mixture on the outside. This is a great defence against invading pests, especially when flower spiders arrive.

Sowing, flowering:

Sowing:

From March onwards, do not allow the seed to dry out. Cut twice a year, first in June-July and then in September-October. Mix the seeds well before use.

July to September.
