Use: Simply place the device at a height where the pest to be deterred is moving (e.g. 20-30 cm off the ground for cats).
The device should face parallel to the ground.
Do not place any object in front of it to ensure that the ultrasound is transmitted as easily as possible.
The device can be easily fixed to a wall or pole.
Older animals (like older people) may have poorer hearing. If you notice that the targeted animal is not responding to the operation of the Garden Protector, we recommend that you reduce the frequency by adjusting the unit to a higher position.
How it works: the unit's motion sensor is activated by movement and emits a special sound signal - the frequency of which depends on the setting. The animals to be deterred will leave the area as a result of the continuous beep.
The infrared detector automatically detects movement and emits an ultrasonic sound for about 7 seconds, after which it goes inactive (does not emit a sound) for 5 seconds. If the movement continues, the cycle will restart.
The lowest frequency (the highest setting) may be audible to some people. If it is disturbing, simply increase the frequency by turning the knob to the lower setting.
Power consumption: runs on 4 "D" batteries (2 - 6 months, depending on battery and use)
