Application and dosage:
Cleaning with the product mixed in water can be done by rubbing or soaking. The treatment can be used to remove possible colour and flavour defects from barrels and containers, but the main purpose of the treatment is to adjust the PH neutrality of the container.
After treatment, the kegs are allowed to dry out. If the kegs will not be used for a longer period of time, it is advisable to disinfect them, for example with sulphuric acid.
A solution of 1-2% (10-20 grams per litre) is recommended for cleaning wine-making equipment and hoses, and a solution of 2-5% (20-50 grams per litre) is recommended for removing difficult-to-remove impurities.
