100% ORGANIC NUTRIENTS OF PLANT ORIGIN
Authorised for organic and biodynamic cultivation

When applied to the soil, these ingredients have repellent and antagonistic effects against burrowing root-damaging animals (sowbugs, field mice, shrews, moles) and root parasites such as the slug beetle, the dirt beetle, the horsefly, the ant, the snail, the root parasite wireworm, the nematode. HORTO BIO will limit the emergence and damage of parasites under suitable soil conditions.

HORTO BIO is a high quality natural nitrogenous plant nutrient. Its organic nitrogen content is absorbed slowly and steadily. Depending on soil conditions and the technology used, its nitrogen content provides the plant with energy for 80-90 days. Once in the soil, these components have a repellent and antagonistic effect against burrowing root-damaging animals (sowbugs, field mice, shrews, moles) and root parasitic nematodes such as the slug beetle, the dirt beetle, the horsefly, the ant, the snail, and root parasitic wireworms and nematodes. HORTO BIO will limit the emergence and damage of parasites under suitable soil conditions.

Friendly pests and real monsters
Who doesn't know and love the cute story of the cricket and the ant, or the song "Snail snail come out", and you could mention our childhood favourite cartoon, Little Blind Man. Yet we are at war with uninvited guests who mine below the surface and above. Their activities are causing damage to fruit and vegetable and ornamental plant growers.

We are trying to get rid of rodents, slugs, ants, wireworms and grubs of all sizes - but to no avail. Fumigators, ultrasonic whistles, baiting agents and even the harshest soil disinfectants can only get rid of them for a few weeks at most.

For a while, we made peace: we accepted that neither poisoning nor raging would get us anywhere. We are helpless against these otherwise friendly garden pests. It is therefore much easier to tolerate each other.

Last year's exceptionally hot and dry summer brought something quite surprising. We worked a fertiliser pellet, HORTO BIO, containing only organic plant nutrients into the soil, which allowed us to remove root-damaging insects and small rodents living in the soil without poisoning anyone or anything.

HANGYA: hard-working people
Their activity and damage is the subject of professional debate in plant protection circles. Many argue that ants are not pests, just creatures that live alongside aphids, nurturing them for their honeydew, and are our friends because of their role as harvesters: they play an important role in the natural food chain. We can also accept the general principle that the majority of ants in woods, pastures and even fields are fundamentally useful creatures in the community. My own observations clearly demonstrate that the presence of ants has an indirect effect on the condition of our gardens. Although they do not necessarily feed on garden plants, their damage in the form of anthills can be significant, especially in seedling production and in sprouted vegetables. The development of anthills is facilitated, and very rapid growth is possible, by prolonged periods of continuous warmth and prolonged drying of the top 20 to 30 centimetres of soil.
HORTO BIO is a simple way to keep ants away from crops without drastic poisoning.

CSEREBOGÁRPAJOR
The larvae of the cockchafer are called pajor, in some regions chimaeras. It changes its position below the soil surface according to the weather: shallower or deeper. Tadpoles are a very important pest of gardens and agriculture. They are particularly damaging in loose, sandy soils. Both the adult imago and the soil-dwelling larvae, the pupae, are tough enemies. Even more important than imago browsing is the continuous root feeding of the leafhoppers, which can even destroy older plants and trees. If you mix HORTO BIO into the top layer of the soil, such areas will be avoided by the imago of the slug beetle, in a year or two the slug beetle will move to other areas, you can control them effectively without poisoning.

HORIZONTAL or HORIZONTAL
Both names refer to the same organism at different stages of its development. The most common place of occurrence is the uncomposted manure heap. Because of its size, which is difficult to see with the naked eye, and its rapid burrowing, the horsefly is subject to extreme destruction as a result of its feeding. It feeds on the roots of plants, causing significant chewing damage, especially after the planting of shoots and outdoor horticultural crops, with yellowing of plants with rot and complete rootlessness indicating its presence. The adult horse cricket does not change its feeding habits and feeds on roots throughout its life. However, it burrows extensive burrow systems underground, in which it deposits the eggs of the next generation, up to 500 eggs, at each mating. HORTO BIO contains repellents that inhibit the feeding of the horsefly/horse cricket, causing this pest to move to areas where it does not encounter castor oil derivatives.

VACATION: we like it in the field
The mole is a mammal that feeds on tiny insects, we actually like it, but we would much prefer it to move outside the garden and not to dig up crops planted with drip irrigation. The mole's main diet consists of ground-dwelling insects, and it will readily eat worms, moth larvae, moth caterpillars, worms, dung beetles, horseflies and all other insects and their larvae. Snails are also very tasty. It causes problems mainly in irrigated lawns and is particularly damaging under the drip system, by uprooting the roots of the plant. When the excavated soil accumulates in its burrow, the mole starts digging towards the surface, and through this burrow, with a strong thrust of its head, it pushes the soil to the surface. This is the reason and the way in which the mole burrow is formed. If you want to keep moles away from your plantation, garden or lawn, apply about 5-7 kg/100 m2 of HORTO BIO to the soil, work it 8-15 cm below the surface and water thoroughly. Our moles and other uninvited ground dwellers will soon be gone for good.

SUGGESTED USE
In horticulture: work into the soil 10-15 cm deep before sowing and planting. Can be broadcast to the surface several times, then irrigate each time.
Fruit growing, nursery: work into the soil or concentrate in the row trench and cover with soil. If grassed, mow the grass to facilitate the penetration of the active substances. It will not leach out of the soil. Irrigate in all cases.
Extensive crops, industrial crops: when preparing the soil or sowing, work into the soil to a depth of 10-15 cm. Can also be broadcast when tilling. Irrigate in all cases.
Lawns: spread evenly over the lawn including along the edges, if possible roll over the surface to help the product penetrate the soil. Water intensively.
Wear gloves, mask and goggles when using. Keep animals away from the treated area for at least 4-5 days.

APPLICATION RATE (KG/HA)
Fruit crops, nursery: for new planting 600-700 kg/ha or 50-60 g per plant mixed in the planting hole. For intensive crops, 40-60 cm from the row (table and wine grapes, apples, pears, walnuts, plums, peaches, apricots, hazelnuts, almonds, chestnuts).
Horticulture: in the open field in the cultivation bed at a width of 50-60 cm (beans, asparagus, lettuce, spinach, other leafy vegetables, garlic, onions, carrots, cabbage, fennel, herbs, peas, pumpkin, watermelon, tomatoes, courgettes, cucumbers, aubergines, potatoes, strawberries, peppers).
Crops: for leafy vegetables grown for fresh consumption, at least 150-200 kg/1000 m2.
Extensive farming, industrial crops: wheat, durum wheat, rice, sorghum, sweetcorn, maize, sugar beet, tobacco.
For growing beds: 80-120 g/m2.
Lawn: 50-80 grams/m2.

HORTO BIO can be used without restrictions in horticultural and agricultural areas other than those mentioned above. For hobby gardening, seedling nurseries, ornamental plants: spray on the surface, then water generously. For ornamental potted plants, apply 20-40 g per pot (pot size: 14 cm diameter).
HORTO BIO can be mixed with potting soil at a rate of approximately 4-8 kg/m3.
The manufacturer's recommendation for HORTO BIO is to apply a minimum of 500-600 kg/ha per hectare.
The above mentioned quantities may vary depending on the soil quality and environmental conditions (soil fertility, chemical, physical or biological components, precipitation, temperature).
Avoid direct contact of the plant root system with the manure granules. For professional use. Store in a dry place away from sunlight. Keep away from children and animals.
