1. FOLIAR FERTILISATION
Use as foliar fertiliser is recommended for the following crops: apples, pears, cabbages, beans, strawberries, strawberries, swedes, peas, tomatoes, ornamentals.
For plants not listed here, consult the distributor before use.
Dose
Arable crops
For severe iron deficiency 2,0 kg/ha
For mild iron deficiency 1,0 kg/ha
Fruit crops
Apply at 1,0 kg/ha in a 0,1 % solution (1 kg/1000 litres of water) and repeat treatment as necessary. Apply by spraying the entire foliage of the plants with minimum run-off. It is essential that the concentration of 0,1 % (1 g/l) is not exceeded.
Live weight:
Arable crops 200-600 l/ha
Fruit 500-1000 l/ha
Mixing:
Add the powder slowly to the total water volume, stirring continuously. Continue stirring until the product is completely dissolved.
Timing
In general, for the most effective foliar fertilisation, the treatment should be applied as soon as there is sufficient foliage area to bind the product. In case of severe deficiency symptoms, treatment should be repeated at 7-10 day intervals. Spraying should be carried out in calm weather, but not in scorching sunlight.
The most suitable time is late afternoon or evening when air humidity is at its highest. If there is a chance of rain, spray if-if not. If it rains 4 hours after spraying, repeat the treatment 3 or 4 days later.
2. SOIL TREATMENT
Apply only to acid soils (pH less than 6,5). The dose to be applied is 1,5 to 6,0 kg/ha depending on the severity of the deficiency disease and the size of the plant, etc.
3. growing conditions
If the iron deficiency occurs in peat moss or other soilless growing media, the product should be applied in the irrigation water or nutrient solution at a rate of 1,0 kg/10000 litres until the deficiency is no longer present.
4. HYDROPONIC (NFT) OR STONE-GYROGENIC PRODUCTION
If there is evidence of iron deficiency, first check the pH of the nutrient solution and, if necessary, adjust it to pH 6,0. Then add the preparation at 80 g/1000 litres.
If symptoms persist, repeat the treatment 7-10 days later. If the iron concentration in the nutrient solution and the optimum iron requirement of the plant are known, the iron concentration can be increased by 1 ppm with 7,5 g/1000 litres of the product.
EDTA chelate contains 13.2% iron.
