Application recommendations:
Soil magnesium content depends on colloid content and pH level. Magnesium is a central component of chlorophyll and plays an important role in photosynthesis, amino acid and protein biosynthesis. Inadequate phosphorus supply inhibits magnesium uptake, while an abundant supply of potassium increases magnesium demand.
Signs of magnesium deficiency are difficult to detect, as visible signs only appear after 3-4 weeks. Leaf drooping, increasing lightening brownish-rusty spots on the veins in older leaves, later fading spots. Magnesium deficiency can be caused by incorrect EC and pH levels, extreme temperatures of the growing medium, or excessive nitrogen or phosphorus levels in the nutrient solution/soil.
