Calcium is not readily soluble in the soil, but its solubility increases as pH decreases. It has a versatile role in physiological processes, cell membrane function and increases plant resistance. Calcium is essential for healthy root growth and the functioning of life processes.
Symptoms of a calcium deficiency can include poor root development, ragged and pendulous leaf edges, brownish-yellowish spots on the leaf surface and a drastic reduction in the plant's water supply. Calcium deficiency can also be caused by too high EC levels, too high potassium and magnesium levels or incorrect pH levels.
DAMISOL® Calcium (neutral chemical)
Active ingredient content (g/l):
192 Calcium, 108 Nitrogen
Application recommendations:
In alpine pastures:
to improve storability,
108: for storage, to improve storage stability, to compensate for calcium deficiency,
60-40-20 days before harvesting, 10-15 l per occasion.
Dose to be applied:
l/ha: 2-3 x 10-15
%: 0,5-1
Against dry spot on peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, melons:
